Cyberscape

In Cyberscape you play as a secret agent who is tasked with stealing a valuable artifact from a high security museum in the dead of night. You're only tool is a laser grapple which you use to swing through the streets of the city as you avoid laser traps and security cameras.
 

The brief

This Project was created during my studies in the 'Production for Clients' topic.

 

The assessment requirement was to deliver a playable prototype based on a brief given to us by the 'client' (instructors). The brief given to us was to create a stealth game, with functioning mechanics and a working game loop with win and lose states. This project was also completed in a group.

 

Team: Myself and a fellow designer.

Development Time: 6 weeks

My role

During development of this project I was in charge of most things inside of unity. My teammate held the vision for the game and it was up to me to understand the concept, iterate upon it and work with them to create a product that we were both satisfied with, but also one that met the criteria's of the assessment.

My work on this project included:
- Creating security camera logic from scratch

- Creating laser trap hazards

- Designing the main menu and making it functional

- Detailing level with assets and textures

- Adding atmospheric logic and sounds in the form of the spaceships flying around and      randomized weather sounds.
